In 2008, Sea-Trek formed a marketing alliance with Cleanseas Tuna in Port Lincoln, Austrailia. Early on Sea-trek saw the potential of the frozen products that Cleanseas produces for the US market. As of March 2009 Sea-Trek became a master importer on frozen Cleanseas products.
Cleanseas specializes in the farming of Yellowtail Kingfish and Southern Bluefin Tuna and they have been on the forefront when it comes to sustainability of their farm raised products. More recently they gained world wide media attention when they successfully were able to close the life cycle on the Southern BlueFin Tuna.

The Australian Southern Bluefin Tuna fishery is one of the most closely managed fisheries in the world. Caught in the wild between December and March, a tightly controlled annual harvest has been held at the same level for nearly 20 years. The exciting advances in the industry are reflected in the recovering wild stocks.
